One strum shows which strings have drifted.
The next song is counted in and one string sounds sour. Strum all of them at once instead of hunting string by string. POLYTUNE 3 detects which strings need tuning and indicates those strings on its display. Tap the footswitch and the output mutes, so you tune in silence.
Readable under stage lights and sun.
An ambient light sensor detects the surrounding light and adjusts the display brightness to match. The LEDs give a clear readout even in broad daylight.
Strobe precision for the final touch.
In needle mode, a single string shows its pitch as a column on the display. Strobe mode detects pitch with an accuracy of ±0.1 cent. Hold the footswitch for about three seconds for Drop D. The TUNING MODE button adds lowered tunings and capo positions up to the seventh fret. Your settings are stored when you power down.
A clean path for long cables and full boards.
True Bypass is the default. With long cables or many pedals, two small DIP switches inside select Buffered Bypass. Buffered Bypass Display Always On keeps the tuner reading while you play. It runs on a 9 V battery (not included) or a 9 V supply, sold separately.
