The 1985 rack delay, reissued as a pedal.
Twenty presets come straight from the original 2290 rack unit from 1985. The rest were crafted for the pedal itself. Start with one you like, change it and store it, until all 128 slots hold sounds you love to play.
Repeats that move
Modulation works on the delayed signal, the panning and the dynamic modulation. Four waveforms are on hand: SINE, RAND, ENV and TRIG. Pan the delay, the direct signal or both, and PAN MOD adds autopanning. The FEEDBACK section sets the feedback level, a high cut filter and a low cut filter. The high cut runs from 1 kHz to 20 kHz, the low cut up to 800 Hz.

Tap the tempo, pick the feel
Tap LEARN to set the tempo. SUB.D turns it into straight, dotted or triplet repeats, and MIDI clock output follows the tap tempo.

Stereo rigs and effects loops
Run two amps in stereo, or place the pedal in an amp send/return loop with MIDI control. Flip the STEREO IN/OUT switch and the stereo jacks become a send and return for the delayed signal. The MIDI jacks take preset changes and FX parameters from a foot controller or your DAW. Over USB-C, the 2290 P app reorganises presets and sets MIDI clock, tap tempo modes and expression pedal modifiers.
