Verse on one loop, chorus on the other.
A song needs more than one repeating phrase. Ditto X4 Looper gives you two loop tracks. Set the SERIAL/SYNC switch to Serial, and one loop plays at a time. Move between separate parts, like a verse and a chorus.
Two loops locked together
In Sync mode, both loops play simultaneously. The first loop sets the phrase length, and the second can run multiples of it. The DECAY knob lowers the volume each time an overdub repeats, so older layers gradually disappear. Each loop holds up to 5 minutes.
Seven effects under your foot
Pick an effect with the FX knob and engage it with the FX footswitch. Reverse plays the loop backwards. Half plays it at half speed, detuned by one octave. Play a riff in double time first, and Half turns it into a bass line. Fade lets the loop fade out over about 5 seconds at the end of a performance.
Backing tracks from your computer
Export a loop from your DAW as AIFF or WAV and transfer it over USB. On stage, it plays as a backing track without a notebook beside you. MIDI IN and THRU take an external MIDI clock to keep your loops in sync.
