Guitar Center 的 Sammy With Diamonds TonePrint
Set at 'neutral' 12'o clock the Toneprint adds an organ-like effect to the guitar. Cranked up it gives a more 'swirly' effect for fast rhytm guitar parts but when backed down it delivers a full sound for accompanying in the style of John Mayer.

其他TonePrints Guitar Center
Doing TonePrints for Guitar Center together has been something Tore and Barry have been talking about doing since winter Namm 2011. Tore from TC heard Barry play at NAMM and thought: Wow, this guy can really play! So that’s how the whole idea about Barry coming over to TC’s headquarters in Denmark and make TonePrints came about.
Tore: So what’s your background with the guitar?
Barry: I’ve been playing guitar since I was a kid and I worked for line6 for 10 years. So I have sort of an extended background with products and playing, and you know, I just love pedals.
Tore: I think we’re going to have a lot of fun making toneprints. Do you have any idea what you want to do?
Barry: I think we should work on the Flashback Delay, Corona Chorus, Hall of Fame Reverb and the Shaker Vibrato.
Tore: Ok we now have the Shaker Vibrato in front of us. I don’t know about you, but I think vibrato is kind of an overlooked effect?
Barry: I would agree. I think it’s a misunderstood effect. People don’t necessarily know where to put it or how to fit it in to their sound.
Tore: I think what we’ve done here is a great example. You’ve tweaked the knobs a little bit, and you get all the different flavors you can use a vibrato for, from fast stuff to midrange stuff and even slow eary things. So we’re starting out with everything at 12’o’clock.
That’s great for that kind of midrange stuff almost leslie-like/organlike. And you’ve made the TonePrint, so that when we crank everything up, you get more of the same sound, but its just about getting over the border of getting over the top but not quite. Nice and swirly.
With everything backed down and with a little overdrive added, you get a cool, full sound for bluesy ballads, kinda cool Hendrix-style accompanying, you can also do some Michael Landau live stuff, as well as Roger Mayer, who is actually using some vibrato.
Barry Mitchell: What a great job we’ve done.
Tore: So this wraps up our TonePrint session. It’s been a pleasure having you over here doing this.
Barry: It’s been great, I’ve had a lot of fun doing these TonePrints. It really shows you how flexible these pedals are. You can really get any tone that you can hear in your head out. And it was great working on this project with you.了解更多 Guitar Center
