Jerry McPherson 的 Dirty Delay TonePrint
Jerry created an awesome sounding 2290-based delay with a bit of drive added for warmth. Jerry spent a lot of time setting the levels right to prevent the delay repeates from getting too loud when doing runaway delays.

TC: Who first inspired you to play guitar?
Jerry: Well, like with a lot of other guys, it was The Beatles and the Abbey Road record. Also a lot of prog-rock stuff like early Genesis, Focus with Jan Akkerman, Foxtrot and others.
TC: From beginning to end, can you explain what is on your pedalboard?
Jerry: It's always changing, which is why I have moved over to PedalTrain. That way it's kind of like a canvas, where I can put stuff on there and take it all off again and start over. But it's basic foodgroup-type stuff. I do have a little A/D converter on there so I can run a laptop and have it on a complete true-bypass so I can run some laptop junk off the board.
TC: Have you ever been so inspired by a tone you created that you ended up writing a tune based on that specific tone?
Jerry: Oh yeah, yeah! Especially with delay stuff where you get sort of a loop-thing going, and you just take off idea-wise off that. So yeah, absolutely.
TC: Do you work on developing your tone continuously, or do you feel that you have found a fundamental tone that will last throughout your career?
Jerry: Always searching, always searching.
TC: Normally, do you prefer having access to many parameters, or do you like simple pedals with just a few knobs better?
Jerry: My main thing is combinations of pedals, where you get one sound from one pedal, combine it with another, and you end up with this third thing. You end up with two pedals and a third sound that way
TC: How come you signed up for creating your own personal TonePrint(s)?
Jerry: This is right up my alley. I'm a tweak-kind of guy as I love to tweak things, and I love pedals.
TC: In your opinion, what is the single coolest thing about TonePrints?
Jerry: Just the fact that you can get under the hood of them and mess with them. This is something we can typically only do with a plug-in type of thing, and it's nice to have plug-in power but in a pedal
TC: Finally, what is your desert island pedal?
Jerry: It would probably be a pedal that could make steaks or a boat (laughs). My crutch has always been delays, so I would bring a delay pedal.了解更多 Jerry McPherson
