Standard Software

Every TouchMonitor comes with a basic software package. Beside the signal processing (two channels at a time) and the control functions this software includes a Stereo-PPM with analog scales (DIN5, Nordic, British IIa, British IIb) and digital scales (0 to -60 dB, +3 to -60 dB TruePeak, DIN5, Nordic, British IIa and IIb), peak hold, peak memory, Over indicators and phase meter.
TC TouchMonitors TM7 and TM9 also come with the Loudness & SPL license as standard.
Optionally, a broad variation of software modules are available as licences.

Software modules can be ordered either at the point of purchase or at a later point in time. If the licence was ordered at the point of purchase, the licence will be activated at delivery.
If you choose to order a license at a later point in time, the order process starts from the “Licences” menu of the TouchMonitor unit.

Loudness & SPL (included with all models)

• Expands the basic stereo PPM with Loudness measuring functions as described in EBU Loudness Measuring Documents (EBU R 128, Tech. Doc. 3341, 3342, et al.) and ITU BS.1771 guideline.
• Parameters can be modified by the user.
• SPL display mode with various weighting filters and integration.
• Reference level adjust to calculate an SPL value from an electrical signal.
• Includes the LRA instrument featuring the Magic Eye view that combines the two essential measurements, Program Loudness and Loudness Range
• Add the multi channel software module for signals with more than two channels.

SSA - Surround Sound Analyzer (optional)

• A powerful tool for visualizing the interaction of all important parameters of surround signals.
• The dynamic behavior of all display elements (House display) corresponds to the subjective listening impression, enabling you to see the balance of a surround programme intuitively and at a glance.
• Add the multi channel software module for signals with more than two channels

TC Electronic Radar display (optional)

• Extremely consistent loudness readout
• This module provides a high resolution circular Loudness display for Momentary values and history, enhanced with numerical display of measuring time and Loudness range (LRA).
• Compatibility with e.g. American, European and Japanese broadcasting standards
• Add the multi channel software module for signals with more than two channels.
• Load two separate loudness radar displays simultaneously for dual 24-hour history

Premium PPM + VectorScope (optional)

• This module expands the Basic Stereo PPM (standard software) with additional scales (Zoom, SMPTE, NHK, ARD+9, et al.) and functions (Peak Hold, Peak Memory, Over indicator).
• It also provides a 2-channel Audio Vectorscope and a separate phase meter.
• Add the multi channel software module extend the Multichannel PPM with these functions and enhance the Multi-Correlator (up to 10 phase meters).

RTA-Real Time Analyzer (optional)

• This module provides a spectral distribution display with 31 bands for single channels, channel pairs or groups plus HP HF band.
• Add the multi channel software module for signals with more than two channels.

Multichannel Mode (optional)
