Spring Fever TonePrints by Robben Ford

Often the greatest things in life come with a wicked counterpart: Alcohol and hangovers - chest pounding dB-levels and hearing damage - playing a gig feeling like a rock god and then go and load the bandwagon.

It's the same with spring reverbs… at least sometimes. In Robben Ford's own words: 'Most spring reverbs will really have some kind of an unpleasant aspect to them'. With this TonePrint he tried to eliminate the underlying metallic quality that often draws away from the otherwise beautiful, organic sound of old spring reverbs.

But don't think that means that the 'Spring Fever' reverb is for playing pretty chords. As Ford says: 'This is for the blues!"
