Doug Aldrich' Basic Delay Toneprint

This is Doug’s basic go-to delay that he uses as an ‘always on’ to add a bit of ambience to his sound. Whether solo or rhythm, this delay is sure to be part of Doug’s sound and it can work miracles for yours too. This TonePrint is a tape-like delay with a touch of vibrato for warbly goodness. Recommended settings: set all knobs to 12 o’clock for the standard TonePrint and then adjust to taste.

Harry McVeigh's Unfinished Business
‘Unfinished Business’ is a delay that plays with the feedback so that it controls both the vibrato and the delay in order to get a realistic tape feel. McVeigh aimed to get a sound similar to a tape delay that he could use when playing hit single Unfinished Business.

Brett Scallions's Onion Delay
Brett Scallions Onion Delay TonePrint for Flashback Delay has the sweetness of a buttery roasted onion and some added a slap. It’s short with lots of feedback and is good for adding flavors to those accentuated riff parts and fills that makes a song stand out!

Billy Morrison's Morrisonia
A long delay with a little less saturation, than a tape type delay would usually have. That way the delay keeps the top end throughout the entire feedback making it ideal for screeching full riffs.

James 'Munky' Shaffer's Synth Delay
James 'Munky' Shaffer has developed a Flashback Delay TonePrint, aiming for an unusual Synth Delay effect. His TonePrint is a Lo-Fi filtered delay that adds a squashed quality to your guitar sound.

Yogi Lonich's Analog Delay
Yogi's Analog Delay TonePrint for Flashback Delay is in it’s neutral setting a short delay but it has a super wide range in delay time and feedback - from almost zero to max. With long feedback it’s good for layering arpeggios. And you can max out the delay time for a musical dialogue with yourself.

Yogi Lonich's Yogi Tape Delay
Yogi Tape Delay for the Flashback emulates an old tape delay, with a feedback, that goes from very short for just adding a bit of depth to your rhythmic picking to a longer feedback, with a sharper edge, that would be excellent for both erie and melancholic depth to your arpeggios.
