The Spark Booster is an excellent tool whether left on to compliment your existing tone or to highlight solo sections or rhythm parts. The Bass and Treble knobs work harmoniously to cut and boost those frequencies without sounding woofy or harsh. (...) For a boost, it’s my new go-to. I just added it to one of my main pedal boards.

Clean or dirty boost, tonal shift or no tonal shift - there are so many ways to use the Spark to get your sound to the next level. Single knob boosters may offer simplicity, but the Spark Booster's versatility earns it a place on our board, and, we suspect, many others.

Playing with each control is very intuitive and really does give extra life and flavour to your tone. Whether you've picked up any of TC's other drive pedals or not, you'll be in fine company with the Spark Booster. Massage into rig to revitalize dull, lifeless tone.

Many boost type effects keep a simple circuit design with minimal control (usually just a gain knob) for easy, out-of-the-box use. That's all well and good—it suits many playing styles—but if you've found yourself needing a bit more control over that basic approach, the Spark Booster will expand your EQ-tweaking capabilities significantly. And with all those knobs within reach, you'll undoubtedly uncover uses that may find you replacing your old boost—and potentially a few other pedals in your chain as well.

Long sustained notes bloomed into beautifully musical feedback and the tone was nothing short of inspirational! It's very well made and is thoroughly inspiring to use and with the fantastic features it offers at such a good price, it's pretty hard to beat.
