Global Konnekt Live with Robbie Bronnimann at Musikmesse 2009

Robbie Bronnimann hosted the Global Konnekt Live session at the TC Electronic booth. All tracks from the four days are ready. Check them out.

We started the day with a plan as the ace fretless bass player Steve Bailey had dropped by the day before to say he would like to do a collaboration. I started the morning getting grooves & working on some pad textures for him to play off.

So here is the run down on day 3 of Namm. After some style suggestions I went for a funky house vibe as I thought it would pick up everyones spirits & keep my area of the booth lively. First order of the day was laying down some drum grooves & a spikey Moroder style bass part. Ida then came over & added a deep solid bass groove & some of her slap magic.

So day 2 of Namm came & went very quickly! The idea was to do a much darker harder track today with a cinematic edge. The day started with Soren laying down some HEAVY guitars to some hard edged breakbeats that I had programmed.

I am the master of ceremonies each day for a Global Konnekt Live recording session. The idea is people contribute all through the day on guitars, bass, vox etc using the TC product line as part of the process.
