    Changes in version 1.1

    Version 1.1.00 (R903) is a service update and contains a bugfix, that prevents the X4 to lose its user presets after power cycling when used with some 3rd party multi out power supplies. Furthermore the SW update contains the following changes:

    • default Bypass state after saving user preset changed to "unbypassed"( FX on)
    • Midi mode changed from Omni to single channel(Midi Channel 1)
    • bugfix: kill dry parameter of Reverse delay was not correctly updated when switching bypass in buffered bypass mode
    • some minor under the hood improvements for handling the Looper's "undo" feature

    How to update your Flashback X4 Delay to the latest firmware version:

    1. Download the firmware installer for your computer platform from the download links below.
    2. Extract the installer to your harddrive.
    3. Connect your X4 pedal with the included USB cable to your computer.
    4. Set your X4 pedal into boot mode by connecting the power cord while holding down "record/A" switch - the LED above Switch A is now lit green.
    5. Start the firmware updater and select the X4 from the "output device" drop down menu.
    6. Click "update". The green led will begin to flicker during data transmission. DO NOT REMOVE the USB cable while the update is in progress!

    When the firmware update is finished, the X4 will reboot automatically and is ready to use.
