Delay TonePrint by La Pédale

The team at La Pédale aimed at creating a TonePrint that would fit many different musical styles and as such, chose a very progressive delay. Yannis kicks off with a percussive slap back effect that almost sounds like early reflections tapping back from the walls of a reverberant room. This sound is perfect for early rock'n'roll, blues, and country music. In following examples, as the delay time is increased to get more cinematic-like sounds, we can hear that the feedback works in conjunction with repetition filtering: high frequencies are rolled off, while a tiny amount of harmonic distortion is introduced to create the analog feel.

La Pédale and TC Electronic have been partners for the past ten years, and the business has largely expanded since the TC Helicon vocal processors craze started in the 2000s.

Davy and his team have sold several hundreds of TC’s G-Majors, G-Systems, Nova Systems, many stomp boxes and have also been a constant source of feedback from the French market.

Since they fell in love with the latest TonePrint pedals, collaborating to have their classic signature sounds in the family came only natural. Pragmatic and passionate musicians as they are, the team at La Pédale chose to create efficient TonePrints that can be used universally, in most musical genres. The reason for this is, in part, because they’d prefer to use multi effects processors like the Nova or G-Systems to create intricate sonic fantasies.

In total, the audiophiles at La Pédale created five user-friendly TonePrints using our Flashback Delay, Corona Chorus, Shaker Vibrato, Hall of Fame Reverb and Vortex Flanger TC pedals.
