Eric originally started out as a drummer (we all have our mistakes) but quickly switched to bass at the age 15. Eric says that being a drummer first has really helped him focus on solid grooves and has enabled him to develop a rock solid sense of timing.

In 1992, Eric landed his first pro-gig with the legendary Sheila E and that's when things really took of for him as a bass player. cemented as a solid and reliable force in the industry, Eric has worked with many big names including P.Diddy and Rihanna and his keen sense for melody, great creativity and immense music skills have even made him the Musical Director for acts like Rihanna and Will.I.Am.
