Other major performances include TV appearances on American Idol, The Tonight Show, the American Music Awards, The Late Show With David Letterman, and the MTV Movie Awards. So, essentially, if you are a huge star or a major TV show and you need a guitarist, you call Adam!
But he doesn't just play sessions for the biggest names in TV and Pop – there's his own band playing too. He was recently invited to join Loud Lion, a Los Angeles super-group that includes the producer John Fields plus members of the bands Rooney, The Donnas, and Extreme.
But no matter what the situation, whether it's playing live in front of millions, supplying session guitar for a host of TV shows, or playing alongside the best musicians in the business, Adam relies on the best gear. And the recent Rihanna world tour demanded the very best of the best...
"For the Rihanna tour," Adam explains, "I needed a rig that could give me every conceivable sound at the touch of a button. I also needed it to be portable enough to fit on a medium size pedal board, and something that didn't make me miss all my analog pedals."
Adam searched far and wide but there really was only one choice that would fit all of these requirements...
"I tried every multi effects unit on the market," he continues, "and there was nothing that came close to the
TC Electronic G-System. It is intricately programmable but remarkably easy to learn, and its sound quality is absolutely superb. I preferred many of the G-System's effects to the ones in my analog pedal board, especially the chorus and delays.
"And you can't beat the G-System's programmability," he concludes. "It's built like a tank too, and holds up without an issue on the road."
