About Timothy Bailey Jr.
Touring the world with artists such as Ariana Grande, Lalah Hathaway, Ruben Studdard, Charice, Judith Hill, Deborah Cox and many more, this soft spoken bass player lets his playing do the talking. Now residing in Los Angeles, the Kansas City native, and accomplished multi-instrumentalist, found his voice in the electric bass guitar at the age of fifteen, and has never looked back.
The Kansas City native studied his craft on both sides of the state line, as well as in Louisville, KY, and Los Angeles, CA, where he now resides. In his nearly two decades of playing professionally, he's been called to accompany the likes of Natalie Cole, Chrisette Michelle, Richard Smallwood, Anthony Evans, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, DJ Quik, Billy Davis and Marlyn McCoo, and Jamie Foxx, just to name a few. He's toured the world on electric and synth bass with many different artists such as Ariana Grande, Lalah Hathaway, Ruben Studdard, Charice, Judith Hill, Deborah Cox, El Debarge, Chris Brown, and Tyrese Gibson. He's had frequent appearances on daytime and late night television shows like Good Day LA, The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Windy Williams Show, The Arsenio Hall Show, and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Timothy's bass lines can also be heard on projects by Jill Scott, Jackiem Joyner, Hidden Beach's Unwrapped Series, and countless other projects on independent and major labels.
Tim relies on his BH800 bass amp plus his RS410 and RS210 cabinets for his powerful tone.
